BPC-157 Dosage & Reconstitution Guide: Exact Calculator Instructions

BPC-157 dosage and reconstitution guide

BPC-157 (Body Protective Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a protective protein found in gastric juice. It has become one of the most extensively studied peptides in preclinical research, with a wide range of investigated applications. But before any research begins, you need to know exactly how to reconstitute and dose it correctly.

This guide covers BPC-157 dosage calculations, reconstitution protocol, and storage — and links to our free peptide dosage calculator so you never have to do the math manually.

BPC-157 Vial Sizes and Concentrations

BPC-157 is most commonly available in 5mg and 10mg lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder vials. Prax Peptides offers BPC-157 in 10mg vials with third-party purity verification. Here’s how concentration changes based on BAC water volume added:

How to Reconstitute BPC-157

  1. Assemble supplies: BPC-157 vial, bacteriostatic water, 1mL insulin syringe (U-100), alcohol swabs
  2. Swab both stoppers with an alcohol wipe and allow to dry for 30 seconds
  3. Draw your BAC water into the syringe (1–2mL for a 5mg vial is standard)
  4. Inject slowly along the glass wall — never directly onto the powder
  5. Swirl gently for 30–60 seconds until fully dissolved (do not shake)
  6. Store in the refrigerator at 2–8°C

BPC-157 Research Dosing Ranges

In published preclinical research, BPC-157 has been studied at doses ranging from 1mcg/kg to 10mcg/kg in rodent models. For a 70kg research model this would translate to approximately 70mcg to 700mcg per administration. Most research protocols use 200–500mcg per injection.

Use our peptide calculator to translate any mcg dose into the exact syringe volume for your specific concentration.

Storage and Stability

  • Lyophilized (unreconstituted): Stable for 24+ months at -20°C, or 6–12 months at 2–8°C
  • Reconstituted in BAC water: Refrigerate at 2–8°C, use within 4–6 weeks
  • Avoid freeze-thaw cycles after reconstitution — aliquot if multiple uses are planned

Where to Buy High-Purity BPC-157

Peptide purity is everything in research. Impurities can produce confounded results and make data unreliable. Prax Peptides BPC-157 (10mg) is produced to >99% purity, verified by third-party HPLC and mass spectrometry testing.
